Walmart Beauty Box Spring 2017 Review

walmart beauty box spring

I have been subscribed to the Walmart Beauty Box for about a year now and I absolutely love it! For $5 a season, you get popular samples of skin care and beauty products sent straight to your doorstep. I love to use these samples for traveling and trying out products before I decide to purchase them.

walmart beauty box

This seasons box was absolutely beautiful. The bright pink with gold trim is right up my alley. I will definitely be keeping this box and using it for some kind of storage.

The box had a wide array of skin care, hair care, and makeup this season.

beauty contents

coconut oil

The first products in the box were from the brand Palmer’s. They were coconut oil facial moisturizer and facial oil. I tried these products out and the coconut smell was very overpowering for me so I would not purchase this particular brand. I was happy that I was able to try though!

frizz ease conditioner

The next product in the box was the Frizz Ease Daily Nourishment Conditioner. Frizz Ease is a pretty good brand so I am excited to try this!

jergens wet skin moisturizer

I love wet skin moisturizers and am very excited to try the Jergen’s Natural Glow Wet Skin Moisturizer. It claims to add subtle color to the skin when used every day. Sounds perfect since my legs are pretty pasty from winter time.

gliss shampoo and conditioner

The box also had a shampoo and conditioner from the Schwarzkopf Gliss line. I am not a huge fan of Schwarzkopf, but will still be using these when I travel because I am sure they are better than hotel shampoos.

biore baking soda scrub

I was really excited to see the Biore Baking Soda Acne Scrub in the box because I have tried this stuff before and it is pretty great. It makes my skin feel extra clean!

rimmel stay matte

The only makeup product in the box this season was the Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation. I was excited to try this out because I had heard a lot about it. They sent me shade 200 soft beige and it was too orange for my skin. I looked like an oompa-loompa! I did like the mousse texture that it had and how it kept me matte all day though. I might try to find the right shade for me when I use up my current foundation.

Overall, the spring box was pretty great! I love being able to try products that I normally wouldn’t pick up if I was at the store. For 5 bucks a month, you can’t beat it!
