Healthy Grocery List

Since I am trying to eat healthier, I wanted to share my go to shopping list with you guys. I do not stick to this list every time that I grocery shop, but I do usually have some kind of variation of this list. This is a typical list for me each week:

Vegetables – lettuce, spinach, escarole, tomatoes, artichokes, baby carrots, broccoli, asparagus, bell peppers, sweet potatoes, onions, 

Fruit – bananas, berries, grapefruit, Cara Cara oranges, granny smith apples, lemons, pears, clementines, avocado, pineapple, watermelon, cantaloupe 

Dairy – reduced fat cheese, light sour cream, cream cheese, butter, fat free milk

Protein – thin sliced grass fed steaks, chicken breast, thin sliced pork chops, salmon, ground beef, organic eggs, turkey breast

Frozen – frozen fruit for smoothies, acai packets, sweet potato fries, frozen yogurt

Grains – english muffins, brown rice, oatmeal, whole wheat bread

Snacks -pistachios, almonds, skinny pop, peanut butter, almond butter, rice cakes

Condiments – jam, ketchup, red hot, soy sauce, olive oil, honey, vinegar

Drinks – water, orange juice, grapefruit juice, coffee, tea
