Each season Walmart releases a beauty box full of beauty and health related samples. I have been subscribed for over a year now and I can tell you straight up that it is definitely worth the $5. The samples in the box aren’t huge, but they are perfect for traveling (and if you are like me and forget to buy more toothpaste or shampoo).
This fall they used a pink, purple, and white box. These boxes are great quality and I always re-use them to organize my office supplies.

The box was full of great samples ranging from dry shampoo to flossers to toothpaste.
The first sample in the box were the Plackers dental flossers. I use these on a regular basis so I was happy to get a travel size pack. These are much more convenient than traditional flossing and just as effective.
The second sample in the box was this Dove Refresh + Care dry shampoo. I personally am not a huge fan of the Dove brand, but for traveling this dry shampoo does the trick. It does leave a white residue on my hair so it might be better for blondes.
I was very intrigued by this SOO AE Donkey Milk Sleeping Mask. I am a huge fan of face masks and am open to trying new (and odd) products. I was very impressed by this mask. It left my face very moisturized in the morning, had a pleasant smell, and helped clear up some of my blemishes. I will be looking for this mask in a full size.
In every beauty box, they send a few foil packet samples. The first one in this box was to Nivea lotion and Nivea in shower lotion. I was a big fan of both of these. They had really nice scents and did a great job of leaving my skin soft and moisturized.
The next sample in the box was this Gold Bond Radiance Renewal Hydrating Cream. I brought this with me on my recent trip to Florida and I really liked it. The cream had a nice smell and did not leave my skin greasy.
These Shea Moisture Coconut and Hibiscus Curl & Shine Shampoo and Smoothie foil packets are one sample that I did not try this season. These were formulated for thick curly hair (which is honestly probably just a gimmick) so I gave them to my cousin to try out. She said she liked the sample, but it was nothing special that she would go out of her way to purchase.
The next sample in the box was the Body Fantasies Layering Collection Eau De Toilette Sprays. I personally am not huge on body fragrances, so I wasn’t so excited to receive this sample.
There were two very small sprays in this sample packet. I liked one of the sprays because it was more fruity, but I was not a fan of the other one. I personally would not purchase this product.
I always love getting toothpastes in subscription boxes. Toothpaste is something you can never have enough of and that you always need for traveling. This Hello toothpaste was very gentle and did a great job of leaving my breath fresh. The toothpaste contains fluoride, which can be a controversial ingredient, but for me I am not picky. I am someone who is not picky about toothpaste and switch brands often. I usually buy whatever is on sale or whatever I have a coupon for. I will check out the Hello brand more and look into their pricing compared to the competitor brands.
The last sample in the box was this foil packet of Olay Luminous Tone Perfecting Cream. This cream had a strong scent and I personally did not see any difference when using it. The packet was very small so that may be why, but I still will not be purchasing this in a full size.
